Italian Afro-Futurist beatmaker DJ Khalab continues our series of Lightning Orchestra remixes, this time with attention turning to the track White Tiger. Khalab has developed an international reputation for his dynamic fusion of tribal drums, deep bass and heavily layered electronic textures. This remix is no different with a dense bass drum kicking throughout with added stabs of Travis Murphy’s original vocal line “freedom of creation” weaving its way through the 5-and-a-half-minute workout.

Lightning Orchestra’s expansive debut album Source and Deliver received critical acclaim from across the music industry; the first single For Those Who Are Yet To Be Born spent 4 weeks on the BBC 6 Music A-List with extensive support from Lauren Laverne’s hugely popular breakfast show.
